Rosanne M. Siino, PhD, is an independent organizational consultant specializing in brand building and its relationship to internal culture and work structure. She has taught leadership, management, global teamwork, and branding courses for engineering students at Stanford University and UC Santa Barbara.
Rosanne completed her PhD in Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University in June 2007. Her academic research has focused on the social and emotional effects of digital technologies on how people work and interact. Prior to her doctoral studies, Rosanne worked for 16 years in high technology corporate communications, retiring from that career in 2000. For six years, she served as Vice President of Corporate Communications for Netscape, the Web software company credited with starting the Internet revolution. As a member of the founding team, she was instrumental in creating and directing Netscape's brand and visibility from the company's beginnings in 1994 until its purchase by AOL in 1999.
Rosanne has consulted with a number of high technology and Internet companies, including QualComm, Google, Ricoh, AOL, SUN Microsystems, and Shutterfly. She is also involved with numerous philanthropic and environmental organizations. Rosanne currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of Lindsay Wildlife Experience, the oldest and one of the largest US-based environmental education and wildlife rehabilitation centers, based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
